A gathering where sound meets imagination, presence meets expression, and the inner world finds new voice.

Welcome

In September 2026, we meet on the island of Spetses — where sea, sky, and pine forests hold silence and song in the same breath.
Here, we invite you to explore how music and imagery ignite transformation, creativity, and wellbeing — in therapy, in community, and in everyday life.

This conference is a celebration of the living imagination — the subtle inner landscapes that shape how we hear, feel, and connect.
Together, we create a space for art and science, practice and reflection, personal experience and collective learning to move as one.

A gathering where sound meets imagination, presence meets expression, and the inner world finds new voice.

About EAMI

The European Association for Music and Imagery (EAMI) supports the development, research, and community of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) and Music & Imagery practices across Europe and beyond.
Ten years after the Association’s founding in Athens, we return to Greece with a spirit of renewal, dialogue, and continuity.

The Interplay of Music, Imagery & Wellbeing

How does music open inner perception?
How does imagery reshape emotional and embodied experience?
How do these practices help individuals, communities, and systems flourish?

We invite you to explore this living dialogue through six interconnected pathways:

Delicious Delicious

Cross-Arts Synergies

Interdisciplinary arts practices where music meets movement, visual arts, dance, or storytelling — expanding the possibilities of expression and transformation.

Nature and the Senses

Eco-therapeutic and nature-based approaches that weave sound, imagery, and the environment to nurture connection, presence, and ecological awareness.

Air Air

Healing and Learning Spaces

Clinical, educational, and community frameworks that integrate music and imagery to support growth, regulation, and emotional integration.

Heart Heart

Embodied Awareness

Contemplative and body-centered pathways that explore the felt sense — aligning breath, movement, and inner imagery as vehicles for wellbeing.

Globe Globe

Cultural and Philosophical Perspectives

Global and local viewpoints that deepen our understanding of harmony, resilience, and the many ways humans experience wellbeing.

Palette Palette

Art as Collective Transformation

Creative practices that reveal how music and imagery can sustain personal and collective wellbeing — euexia and euzoia — through imagination and shared human experience.

Please note that the conference will take place exclusively in person; there will be no option for online attendance or streaming
