  • Stay tuned to find out more about the special Pre-Conference workshop “Embodied Listening in the Blue Space Join us for a unique experience at the beach just in front of the conference venue. This outdoor, experiential workshop invites you to explore sound and imagery in an underwater environment. Will it involve simple underwater swimming or a full diving experience? We are currently finalising the technical details. A full description will be available on our website shortly; however, we strongly encourage you to take part, as this promises to be a truly distinctive experience. The day will culminate in the official conference opening, followed by a barbecue evening in the garden.
  • A limited number of five reduced-fee places are available for participants from low-income countries. Priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Cancellation policy: Cancellation requests received up to 30 days before the event will be refunded in full, less a €60 processing fee and any bank transfer expenses incurred. Cancellation requests received between 29 and 15 days before the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee, less a €60 processing fee and any bank transfer expenses incurred. No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received within 15 days of the event, including no-shows. In exceptional cases, last-minute full refunds may be considered, less a €60 processing fee and any bank transfer expenses, if travel is disrupted due to significant external events beyond the participant’s control (e.g. war, airspace closures, or widespread flight cancellations). Appropriate documentation (such as official airline notifications or travel disruption evidence) may be required.
  • Highly Recommended: If you travel with seajet from Piraeus Port to Spetses, it is highly advisable that you book your sea jet tickets early enough-seats fill up quickly because of the Armata festival week!

  • Are you a single participant in need of sharing accommodation? Please notify us in the registration form, to look at matching options (no guarantee)
  • If you intent to bring along a spouse/friend/colleague, please state this in your application form to receive a quote
  • The venue accommodation is a heritage building complex and does not have elevators. Please disclose any mobility issues upon booking for more suitable allocation of rooms. Allocation of rooms is offered on first come/first serve basis and according to availabilty.
  • If for any reason you do not wish to stay in AKSS, you are welcome to book alternative accommodation independently
  • Graduation ceremony: The ceremony will be held on Friday, the 11th, in the open-air amphitheatre.
  • CPD credits: The conference will qualify for 1 CPD credit per hour of attendance.
